Job Description

As a Technical Sales Consultant (Pre-Sales) at our company, your role will involve having a solid understanding of Connectivity, Unified Communications, Software Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN), and Cyber Security technologies. You will collaborate effectively with sales professionals, internal operations, delivery teams, and TELUS business clients to address the business needs of customers across Canada. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leveraging expertise in Connectivity, Unified Communications, SDWAN, and Cyber Security solution areas - Working with internal TELUS stakeholders throughout the solution development life cycle - Managing end-to-end solution development of specific solution sets and handling day-to-day customer requests Skills and Knowledge required for this role: - Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and adapt to changing customer needs - Strong decision-making skills and exceptional English business communication skills - Customer-first mindset with proven excellence in relationship development - Technical proficiency in Connectivity, Unified Communications, SDWAN, and Cyber Security solution sets - Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills for customer-facing and internal interactions - Comfort operating in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment - Solid technical writing skills and confidence working in a sales-driven environment - Familiarity with TELUS systems and tools or a strong aptitude for learning them - Proficiency in Google Suite and ability to articulate solutions benefits from technical and financial perspectives - Demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing competitive solutions - Sales training/account planning experience is an asset - Post-secondary degree in engineering, computer science, technical diploma, or equivalent experience - Certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, AWS are strong assets - Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role Join us in this challenging yet rewarding role where you can showcase your technical expertise and sales acumen to drive positive outcomes for our customers and the company.
