As an Instructional Design Leader with 10-15 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in driving large-scale SAP and Systems Implementation (SI) learning engagements. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a global team of specialists, focusing on creating high-impact employee experiences while bridging the gap between complex technical systems and learning solutions. Here is what you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Drive large-scale SAP/SI engagements, ensuring stakeholder management, project economics, and maintaining high-level quality assurance.
- Team Development:
- Build and mentor a team of instructional designers, acting as a coach to foster continuous professional growth among team members.
- Design Excellence:
- Oversee the creation of learner-centric content such as WBTs, VILT, Videos, and Nano-learning by utilizing methodologies like ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, and visual design principles.
- Innovation:
- Utilize advanced digital tools like Articulate, WalkMe, Vyond, and explore automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Business Growth:
- Collaborate with regional leaders to develop project pipelines, proprietary tools, and methodologies to drive business growth.
In addition to the above responsibilities, you will need to meet the following qualifications:
- Experience:
- You should have 10-14 years of experience working on complex learning projects, specifically within SAP (S4/HANA, FI, HR, MM) or other ERP environments like Oracle or Workday.
- Technical Mastery:
- Possess expert-level knowledge of SAP Enable Now and various authoring tools such as Storyline and Captivate.
- Strategic Mindset:
- Demonstrate a proven ability to manage project risks, budgets, and large, distributed teams effectively.
- Communication:
- Showcase exceptional writing and presentation skills, enabling you to clearly articulate design decisions to global stakeholders.
- Agility:
- Be a proactive problem-solver who is comfortable with ambiguity and thrives in a cross-cultural collaboration environment.
This role offers a unique opportunity to not only manage projects but also to build a practice, mentor talent, and leverage cutting-edge technologies to transform how global workforces adopt new systems.
