Operations Specialist

As an Operations Specialist 1 at IQVIA, your role involves reviewing, assessing, and processing Safety data and information from various sources. You will distribute reports/data to internal and external third parties while adhering to applicable regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal guidelines under the guidance of senior operation team members. Key Responsibilities: - Prioritize and complete assigned trainings on time - Process Safety data according to regulations, guidelines, SOPs, and project requirements - Perform Pharmacovigilance activities including collecting and tracking Adverse Events (AE) information, database entry, coding AE and Products, and writing narratives - Ensure quality and productivity standards are met - Comply with project-related processes and activities - Create, maintain, and track cases as per project plan - Identify and report quality problems - Liaise with different functional team members and clients - Mentor new team members if assigned - Attend project team meetings and provide feedback - Lead/support department initiatives - Ensure 100% compliance with people practices and processes Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Scientific or healthcare discipline - Up to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of experience, training, and education - Good knowledge of medical terminology - Working knowledge of Safety Database and other applications - Knowledge of global, regional, and local clinical research regulatory requirements - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong organizational and time management skills - Strong verbal/written communication skills - Ability to work independently and in a team - Flexibility to operate in shifts and occasional travel About IQVIA: IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights, and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
