Job Description
As a Senior Officer Technical Support, your role will involve supporting, maintaining, and enhancing web and mobile applications built on .NET technologies. You should possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of application architecture, and the ability to resolve technical issues across frontend, backend, API, and database layers. It is essential to have a customer-focused mindset, strong communication abilities, and the capability to collaborate effectively with development and business teams to ensure high system availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for web and mobile applications.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across frontend, backend, APIs, and database layers.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical production issues.
- Monitor application performance and ensure system uptime and reliability.
- Database & Query Management
- Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries for data validation, issue investigation, and data correction.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
- Technical Coordination
- Collaborate with development teams for bug fixes, enhancements, and deployments.
- Support application releases and patches in coordination with DevOps teams.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately with proper documentation.
- Documentation & Process Compliance
- Maintain detailed documentation of reported issues, resolution steps, workarounds, and Known Error Database (KEDB).
- Contribute to process improvements and support SOP documentation.
- User Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide timely updates and manage user expectations.
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while handling user concerns.
Technical Skills Required:
- Working knowledge of .NET Framework and ASP.NET MVC
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in C#
- Understanding of application architecture (n-tier architecture, APIs, services)
- Strong knowledge of SQL (query writing, joins, stored procedures, troubleshooting)
- Experience in supporting REST APIs and web services
- Familiarity with debugging and monitoring tools
- Experience with issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)
