Job Description
As a Nursing Supervisor at our company, your role involves overseeing and guiding the work of registered nurses (RNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and other healthcare staff. You will ensure staff compliance with care protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while providing regular feedback, mentorship, and training to enhance staff competencies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the medical team to develop tailored patient care plans and monitoring patient progress to achieve the best health outcomes.
- Conducting patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, pain management, wound care, and other clinical indicators.
- Providing training and orientation to new nursing staff on clinical practices, company policies, documentation, and patient care procedures.
- Conducting audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, agency protocols, and patient care guidelines.
- Overseeing patient care transitions, emergency response, crisis management, and ensuring effective communication within the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ensuring accurate documentation of patient assessments, care plans, nursing interventions, and progress notes.
- Evaluating the performance of nursing staff regularly and identifying areas for improvement.
- Efficiently managing staffing levels, patient care equipment, supplies, and advocating for patient rights and preferences.
- Participating in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in home health care nursing.
In addition, the company provides benefits such as cell phone reimbursement and internet reimbursement. The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) qualification, along with a 2W/4W driving license. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required, along with the necessary license/certification.
