Networking Engineer

Role Overview: As a GCP Networking professional, your role will involve implementing network security controls such as firewall rules, IAM policies, and policy based routes. You should have strong expertise in VPC design, subnetting, and routing for single and multi-region deployments. Additionally, you will be expected to have hands-on experience with GCP networking components such as VPC, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud Router, Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, VPN, and Policy Based Routes. Familiarity with AWS networking concepts like VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53, ELB, and VPN to Direct Connect migrations will be beneficial. A deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, NAT, VPNs, and firewalls is essential. Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, Python, or Bash is desired. Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and IAM is crucial. Possessing certifications like AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty or Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer will be an added advantage.
