Network System Engineer

As a System Engineer at SL Lumax LTD, located in Chennai, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for managing hardware, software, network, and security systems for over 300 staff members. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installation and configuration of network hardware such as Cisco switches, routers, and wireless access points - Design and implementation of a layer 2 network architecture for effective traffic management and network segmentation - Installation, configuration, and maintenance of server hardware and software including operating systems and virtualization platforms - Basic knowledge of Fortinet firewall installation, configuration, and managing firewall policy to ensure network security - Maintenance of up-to-date network diagrams, configurations, and technical documents for future reference and compliance audits - IP address configuration for all network devices and maintenance of IP assets - Installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV and Biometrics systems Additionally, your role as a System Engineer will require you to have experience in system administration tasks such as installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows OS, network printers, scanners, RFID, HMI, DCU, and PDA. You will also be involved in planning, implementing, installing, operating, and maintaining systems hardware, software applications, plant infrastructure, and MES processes in the plant production area.
