As a Network Support Engineer (L1) in our organization, your role involves providing 24/7 operational support for enterprise network environments. Your strong communication skills, foundational networking knowledge, and willingness to work from the client's office in a WFO model are crucial. You will be part of a GCC operating under a BOT model, where you will transition to the client organization after one year.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing Level 1 network support and conducting first-line troubleshooting for network-related incidents.
- Monitoring and responding to alerts, incidents, and service requests using tools like ServiceNow and/or SolarWinds.
- Performing basic network troubleshooting encompassing LAN/WAN, routing, and switching concepts.
- Applying OSI model concepts (7 layers) during issue diagnosis.
- Handling subnetting-related queries and basic IP addressing tasks.
- Escalating issues to higher-level support teams following defined procedures.
- Ensuring effective communication with internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Operating in a 24/7 shift-based support model from the client office.
