Network Engineer

As an L2 Network Engineer at Teceze, you will play a crucial role in providing support for switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, WAN, and IPSEC. Your responsibilities will include rack & stack activities, structured cabling, fiber patching, Ethernet cable crimping, monitoring and responding to network alerts, performing configuration changes and firmware upgrades, utilizing basic Python scripts for automation and reporting, maintaining network diagrams and documentation, and following ITIL processes for Incident/Change/Problem management. Key Responsibilities: - L2 support for switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, WAN & IPSEC - Rack & stack, structured cabling, fiber patching, Ethernet cable crimping - Monitor & respond to network alerts (CPU, bandwidth, flaps, packet loss) - Perform config changes, firmware upgrades & device health checks - Use basic Python scripts for automation, log parsing & simple reports - Maintain network diagrams, port maps & documentation - Follow ITIL processes for Incident/Change/Problem Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of network support experience - Good knowledge of switching, routing fundamentals & IPSEC - Hands-on experience with cabling, rack installations & data center work - Familiarity with monitoring tools such as PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix - CCNA or similar certification preferred - Location: Onsite/Hybrid (as applicable) As an L2 Network Engineer at Teceze, you will play a crucial role in providing support for switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, WAN, and IPSEC.
