Network Engineer (Aruba)

Job Description: You are seeking an experienced Aruba Migration & Network Expert to lead and execute enterprise-scale network transformation initiatives involving migration from legacy network infrastructures (Cisco/Juniper/Extreme etc.) to Aruba-based wired and wireless environments. The role will involve architecture design, migration planning, implementation, optimization, and operational stabilization of Aruba networking solutions including Aruba CX switching, Aruba Wireless, Aruba ClearPass, Aruba Central, and SD-Branch solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design enterprise-grade Aruba network architectures for campus, branch, and data center environments. - Develop high availability, scalable, and secure network designs using Aruba CX switching, wireless controllers, and Aruba Central. - Lead end-to-end migration from legacy network platforms (Cisco, Juniper, HP, etc.) to Aruba infrastructure. - Perform network discovery, assessment, and gap analysis. - Deploy and configure Aruba CX Switches, Aruba Wireless Access Points, Aruba Mobility Controllers, Aruba Central, Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager. - Design and implement enterprise wireless networks using Aruba access points and controllers. - Implement network access control using Aruba ClearPass. - Use Aruba Central, APIs, and automation tools to streamline network operations. - Troubleshoot complex network issues related to routing, switching, wireless connectivity, network authentication, and access control. - Create detailed network design documents, migration plans, runbooks, and SOPs. - Work with program managers, project teams, and vendors for smooth project delivery. - Provide technical leadership during migration and stabilization phases. **Qualifications Required:** - 812+ years of experience in enterprise networking. - Minimum 45 years of experience with Aruba networking technologies. - Proven experience in large-scale network migration programs. - Experience managing multi-site enterprise networks. - Expertise in Aruba CX Switching, Aruba Wireless, Aruba Central Cloud Management, Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager. - Experience in network automation using Python, Ansible, REST APIs. - Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform for network infrastructure. - Integration experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix. - Experience with SIEM platforms like Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel. - Strong knowledge of network security technologies such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Zscaler. - Familiarity with SD-WAN architecture and ITIL-based network operations.
