Job Description
As a Senior Network Administrator at CGI, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance. Your role will involve advanced troubleshooting, implementing network solutions, and guiding junior administrators to align network operations with business needs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Hands-on experience in Routing and Switching, including VLAN configuration in enterprise network environments.
- Experience with Network Monitoring Tools for proactive monitoring and performance analysis.
- Hands-on experience in NetScaler (Citrix) for load balancing and traffic management.
- Strong experience in Cisco ASA and Cisco FMC configuration and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Cisco Umbrella for DNS-layer security and secure web gateway operations.
- Working knowledge and support experience with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) for Network Access Control (NAC).
- Experience managing Site-to-Site IPsec VPN frameworks to support secure client connectivity.
- Lead the team and act as the primary escalation point for high-priority (P1/P2) incidents, ensuring rapid service restoration and coordinating the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process for network transitions.
- Manage and optimize enterprise routing and switching infrastructure, ensuring high-performance data transport using advanced Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols.
- Implement and manage SNMP traps, Syslog alerts, and NetFlow analysis to proactively identify and resolve network performance issues.
- Configure and manage NetScaler load balancing policies and content switching to efficiently distribute traffic across server farms.
- Coordinate with MPLS and ISP service providers, managing circuit delivery, SLA adherence, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Perform security vulnerability analysis and mitigation to maintain a secure and stable production environment.
- Prepare and present monthly governance reports for client engagement managers.
- Oversee resource allocation and workload distribution and conduct Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions to enhance team capability.
