Murex Analyst

As a Business Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in executing Murex testing cycles and ensuring project delivery within specified timelines. Your responsibilities will include preparing test cases and managing defects in JIRA, conducting reconciliation, and providing support for SIT/UAT activities. Collaboration with project managers and IT teams will be essential to validate various trade lifecycles and report any concerns promptly. Your adherence to compliance standards and process accuracy will contribute to the overall success metrics of the project. Key Responsibilities: - Perform functional testing across various Murex modules. - Analyze business and technical requirements to convert them into detailed test scenarios and cases. - Execute end-to-end test cycles including test execution, defect identification, logging, tracking, and re-testing. - Conduct file reconciliation (Source vs. Target) and perform first-level issue analysis. - Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and assist business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Understand Murex trade lifecycle, events, and interface workflows for accurate validation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, Dev, Risk, Operations) during test planning and execution. - Manage and track defects using tools like JIRA and ensure timely closure. - Prepare clear, concise test reports and status updates for stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with capital market asset class requirements (FX, FI, IRD, MM, etc.). Qualifications: - Hands-on experience working on the Murex platform. - Worked on Capital Markets/Treasury domain projects. - Experience in requirement gathering and BRD/FSD preparation for Murex. - Worked on Front-to-Back trade lifecycle processes. - Exposure to Murex modules (Front Office/Risk/Back Office/Accounting). - Worked on FX, Interest Rate, or Fixed Income products. - Experience in UAT coordination or testing in Murex projects. - SQL/data analysis experience for Murex reporting or data validation. Note: This role requires a Master's degree, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Murex and Capital Markets. CA certification is also required. The work location is in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and in-person attendance is mandatory.
