Mobile Test Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for mobile testing, focusing on test automation techniques for complex interdependent programs/projects. Your main tasks will include writing test automation scripts with Selenium & Java, using test planning, execution, and tracking tools, and working with testing frameworks like Cucumber, JBehave, or Jasmine. You will also be involved in integrating, running, and monitoring automation scripts using tools like Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools. Your role will require experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, preparing estimation test plans, test strategies, and test summary reports. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of 10 members across different locations, assigning tasks, and preparing daily status reports - Collaborate with other QA resources to exchange ideas, define test cases, and provide details about bugs discovered during testing - Call out risks and challenges to stakeholders in a timely manner - Design and execute planned test cases ensuring all results are correctly updated in test execution tools - Review requirements specifications and design documents to provide feedback - Design, implement, and deliver scalable, maintainable, configurable, and robust test automation frameworks - Analyze and translate requirements and development stories into test scripts for complete coverage - Perform functional, regression, and cross-browser testing - Complete the entire testing process from data validation to front end GUI using SQL, manual, and automation testing techniques - Understand the defect life-cycle process and use industry standard defect tracking tools - Set up and run tests for multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, and Safari) - Have knowledge of SQL, mobile browser automation, continuous integration testing tools, web-based security threats, and performance testing tools Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Appium testing - 4-6 years of experience in Web and Mobile testing using Selenium Web Driver and Appium - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Selenium Web Driver for automation testing - Strong knowledge of continuous integration tools like Hudson and Jenkins - Understanding of testing and automation best practices Note: The job description does not include any additional details about the company.
