Role Overview: As a Mobile and Web QA Engineer at Zuchiz, you will play a crucial role in testing mobile and web applications across various platforms such as iOS, Android, and web. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile and web applications on various platforms. - Conduct manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify and document defects. - Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks like Selenium and Appium to create and maintain automated test scripts, enhancing testing efficiency. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to understand requirements, ensure test coverage, and provide feedback on app quality. - Use bug tracking tools like JIRA to report, track, and manage defects, ensuring prompt issue resolution. - Perform compatibility testing across different devices, screen sizes, operating systems, and browsers. - Conduct performance and load testing to ensure apps meet performance benchmarks and handle expected user loads. - Continuously refine testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance app quality and testing efficiency. - Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools in app testing and integrate them into the testing process. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience. - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an App Test Engineer focusing on mobile and web applications. - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience with manual testing, automated testing tools like Selenium and Appium, and scripting languages. - Proficiency in using bug tracking tools such as JIRA for defect management. - Familiarity with Agile development processes and working in cross-functional teams. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
