Job Description

As a Copywriter at our agency, you will be responsible for using your writing and referencing skills to enhance our copy offerings for our clients. You will need to understand the copy platform for each assigned account to ensure that the content is on strategy and meets the client's needs. **Responsibilities:** - Demonstrate the ability to develop creative work that is on strategy, under regular supervision. - Show strong conceptual potential in your work. - Develop an understanding of basic marketing principles. - Exhibit excellent writing skills in all your copy. - Attend regular status meetings to stay informed and updated. - Prepare and submit work for Med/Legal and DDMAC approval. - Utilize market research to create test materials and actively participate in research activities. - Reference and annotate all work accurately. - Collaborate closely with editors to ensure accuracy in all deliverables. - Gain knowledge of the client's business, the brand, and key stakeholders. - Conduct research on medical and scientific information relevant to our brands. - Interact daily with Project Management, Art Directors, and Account Executive. - Maintain positive relationships with internal departments like Editorial and Project Management. - Develop presentation skills and confidence in presenting your work. - Understand the creative process from project initiation to production. - Ensure all final products meet the highest quality standards. - Assist senior copywriters on various tasks and projects. - Set priorities effectively while handling multiple tasks. - Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and colleagues. - Keep your supervisor updated on the progress of all projects. - Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager. **Experience:** - College degree in a relevant field. - 1-2 years of experience, preferably in advertising or a related field. - Proficiency with word processing programs. - Strong copywriter portfolio showcasing creative abilities. - Excellent oral communication and presentation skills. - Knowledge, background, or interest in science and medicine would be beneficial for this role.
