Medical Coder Executive

You are required to have 1-5 years of experience in Medical coding for US Healthcare, with a preference for E&M, Nephrology & Vascular Services. It is mandatory to hold a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from the American Academy of Skilled Coder (AAPC) with knowledge of HCPCS, ICD, CPT. Your responsibilities will include accurately analyzing provider documentation/Medical Records to ensure appropriate CPT/HCPCS codes are assigned, following coding guidelines and legal requirements for compliance with federal and state regulatory bodies, evaluating medical records for consistency and adequacy of documentation, and maintaining compliance standards as per the policies. Additionally, you should have excellent analytical skills, good knowledge and understanding of Human Anatomy, medical terminology, and disease processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required, along with the willingness to work late/night shifts. **Education/Experience Requirements:** - Graduate/Masters degree in a related field - 0-2 years of experience in medical billing with healthcare billing/coding and/or physician office billing/coding experience. You should also possess excellent computer skills, written and verbal communication skills, and management skills.
