Mechanical Engineer (Fresher)

You are a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator (Fresher) joining a manufacturing team in Chennai. You have completed ITI or Diploma in Fitter/Turner and possess basic knowledge of machine operations, fitting, and machining processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Operate and monitor production machines as per standard operating procedures - Perform fitting and turning activities as required - Read and understand basic engineering drawings - Set up machines under supervision - Conduct basic machine maintenance and cleaning - Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards - Inspect finished products to ensure quality specifications are met - Report any machine malfunctions or production issues to the supervisor **Required Skills & Knowledge:** - Basic knowledge of fitting and turning operations - Understanding of measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges) - Ability to read basic technical drawings - Good mechanical aptitude - Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment - Basic knowledge of safety practices in workshop/production floor You will be paid 9,998.79 - 15,000.00 per month for this position.
