Job Description

You are being hired as a Marketing Executive to manage and execute marketing activities for Food Security SummitX and one additional assigned event category. Your focus will be on social media execution, content support, email campaigns, webinar promotion, and basic market research. This role requires solid digital marketing fundamentals and working knowledge of AI tools to improve efficiency. Responsibilities: - Social Media Management: - Execute social media activities across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms. - Plan and maintain monthly content calendars. - Publish event-related posts including reels, speaker announcements, updates, and coordinate with the design team for creatives and visual assets. - Monitor engagement metrics and optimize posting schedules. - Content and Campaign Support: - Support content ideation based on industry and market trends. - Repurpose existing content such as webinars, articles, and speaker insights into social media formats. - Assist in promotional campaigns for tickets, speakers, sponsors, and partners. - Email Marketing: - Execute mass email campaigns for delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, and partners. - Manage email lists and basic segmentation. - Draft and schedule email campaigns in coordination with the team. - Webinar and Online Event Promotion: - Support planning and promotion of webinars and virtual sessions. - Drive registrations through social media and email channels. - Coordinate with internal teams and speakers for execution. - Support post-webinar follow-ups and content repurposing. - Market Research and Insights: - Conduct basic research on industry trends and competitor events. - Identify potential media companies and ecosystem partners. - Compile research findings and reports for internal use. - Media Partnership and Collaboration Support: - Support outreach to media companies, platforms, and ecosystem partners. - Assist in coordinating media collaborations including promotional exchanges, content sharing, and visibility campaigns. - Track media partner deliverables such as posts, mentions, newsletters, and event coverage. - Support reporting on media exposure and engagement outcomes. - Use of AI and Digital Tools: - Use AI tools for content drafting, caption ideation, and basic reel scripting. - Use AI for research summaries and email draft support. - Apply AI as a productivity tool, not as a strategic replacement. - Multi-Event Responsibility: - Manage marketing execution for Food Security SummitX and one additional assigned event. - Adapt messaging and outreach based on the target audience and event theme. Key Performance Indicators: - Consistency and quality of social media posting - Timely execution of email and webinar campaigns - Quality and relevance of research outputs - Adherence to content calendars and deadlines Candidate Profile: - 2 to 4 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or event marketing. - Familiarity with social media platforms and formats. - Basic working knowledge of AI tools for content and research. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines. - Experience in conferences, B2B marketing, or media is preferred.
