Manufacturing Plant Maintenance Engineer

Your Role: You will be responsible for managing the ES assembly area test bed in parallel with the assembly team, contractual teams, and ensuring the delivery of required production as per the monthly plan. You will handle customer inspections both physical and virtual, maintain records of finished projects, and prepare processes based on past learnings. It will be your responsibility to oversee the completion of projects until packing and dispatch, ensuring the highest level of quality and adherence to AC standards. Responsibilities: - Develop Ownership concept online, 'Right from Me' & encourage the assembly team to perform all kinds of jobs from manufacturing to testing till despatch. - Ensure effective and efficient handling of the ES assembly area and testing area. - Allocate manpower and coordinate with ES lineman, including space planning. - Co-ordinate with all team members to ensure quality and highlight any project issues by organizing daily ES production meetings. - Coordinate with line man to ensure timely material availability, no excess material on the line, and timely corrections of BOM for excess material. - Handle Assembly and performance testing of diesel-driven machines and third-party contractors working on projects. - Raise internal inspection (audit) calls and ensure safe packing and loading of ES Skids as per company guidelines. - Communicate with vendors as required and actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives for Line, on Quality-Cost. - Lead safety environment throughout the ES assembly area and ensure safety practices are followed. - Co-ordinate/Support Team Leaders for implementation of any changes on the production line/products/people. - Verify assembly as per work instructions/given guidelines, maintain check sheets & production records, and ensure timely scrapping of parts after project closure. - Raise requests for tools and tackles received from the assembly team and coordinate rework & repair as needed. - Maintain & Improve workplace by following the 5S concept, ensure Workplace discipline on the line, and maintain daily output with required details. - Encourage operators to build a safety culture on the Production Line and control material handling rejection and process rejection. - Work with plant engineers, external vendors, operators, and management to manage projects and assignments. - Assist with estimates of man-hours required to complete projects. - Experience with AIF, AIH, NGP, Dryers, ZH, Skid projects, and modular machines will be preferred. - This position will require working 6 days a week for ensuring smooth coordination with the assembly team. Qualifications and core competences: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. - Minimum of Two (2) years' experience with compressor industry/Oil and Gas company. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment. - Experience with Compressor, Dryers, NGP's, NGME's, Skids, Containers, etc. - Capable of Managing Multiple Projects. - Capable of reading drawings PID, GAD, and other project documents. - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
