Role Overview:
At Suraasa, you will play a crucial role in transforming the global teaching landscape by enabling teachers to upskill, grow, and find better career opportunities. As a Sales Manager for School Subscriptions based in our Hyderabad office, your primary responsibility will be to execute the sales strategy on the ground. This hands-on sales leadership position is ideal for someone with over 5 years of experience in selling to schools who is now ready to take on team and revenue ownership.
Key Responsibility:
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Build strong relationships with school leaders such as principals, trustees, and directors.
- Conduct product demos and negotiate subscription contracts.
- Translate VP's sales strategy into actionable regional plans.
- Oversee 2 Associates handling outreach and follow-ups.
- Monitor pipeline health, maintain CRM dashboards, and provide progress reports.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of schools.
Qualification Required:
- 5+ years of B2B school sales experience.
- MBA/PG in Sales, Marketing, or Education is preferred.
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, and closing skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and mentor junior sales representatives.
- Previous experience in edtech, publishing, or school solutions is a plus.
