Manager - Network Engineering Security

Job Description: As a Cyber Network Security Manager at Comcast, you will be responsible for managing the daily work processes and ensuring the practical implementation of relevant standards within the assigned areas of the cyber network security. Your role involves monitoring the cyber network to ensure adherence to standards, identifying flaws in work processes, recommending solutions, and managing direct and dotted line reports. You will work on cross-functional teams and coordinate complex cyber security projects from design to implementation. Collaborating with network and systems engineers, you will create, maintain, and enforce security plans and policies affecting the network infrastructure. Additionally, you will play a lead role in designing security safeguards and verifying the company's network security posture as a subject matter expert. Core Responsibilities: - Recommend and implement security safeguards to the Company's IP network in accordance with industry standards and Company security policies. - Ensure Network and Systems Engineers follow security best practices during hardware and software deployment. - Collaborate with the Network Operations team to maintain up-to-date disaster recovery plans. - Conduct regular penetration tests and vulnerability assessments. - Lead security audits, both internal and external. - Develop security scripts and recommend tools to support Operations Security function. - Ensure customer SLAs are met at all times and respond quickly to downtime situations.
