Job Description
As a Manager Finance, Accounts & Payroll at LiveRamp India, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and payroll operations for the company's legal entity in India. Your role will involve ensuring accurate books, compliant statutory filings, and maintaining a strong internal control environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end accounting for LiveRamp India in the ERP system (e.g., Workday), ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Indian GAAP and Group / US GAAP accounting policies.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the India entity, including preparing, reviewing, and posting journal entries, performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, investigating variances, and resolving issues with stakeholders.
- Coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements under Indian GAAP and support board/shareholder approvals.
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for India employees, including all aspects such as new joiners, exits, salary revisions, bonuses, incentives, reimbursements, and arrears.
- Ensure compliance with Indian payroll, labour, and tax regulations, including TDS, EPF, ESI, PT, LWF, and other statutory payments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax and labour laws affecting payroll and employee benefits and implement necessary updates.
Required Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant Inter (CA Inter) or equivalent strong accounting qualification; or MBA (Finance) with 7-10 years of experience in controllership and payroll for an India legal entity.
Good To Have:
- Strong working knowledge of Indian GAAP with exposure to US GAAP / IFRS.
- Experience managing end-to-end payroll processing for a scale of at least 300-500 employees.
- Hands-on experience with ERP / HRIS systems (preferably Workday) and strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
