Logistics and Transportation Specialist

As a Logistics and Transportation Specialist at Philips, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations across warehousing, domestic distribution, and international trade. Your main responsibilities will include leading a high-performing team to ensure 100% inventory accuracy, managing 3PL partnerships, and leveraging advanced analytics to drive cost efficiencies. The position is based in Gurgaon/Bangalore. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with 3PL partners to manage inventory across different warehouses pan India, optimizing both inbound and outbound capacities. - Enforce rigorous Inventory Controls by conducting daily cycle counts, wall-to-wall audits, and full-scale audits for 100% location accuracy. - Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to enhance workflow and space utilization. - Coordinate domestic distribution and final-mile delivery schedules, oversee Import/Export documentation, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations. - Manage 3PL partners by monitoring their performance against contractual SLAs and KPIs. - Manage multi-channel fulfillment workflows to ensure high speed and accuracy for online orders. - Oversee Reverse Logistics (returns) and handle customer claims on deliveries for account settlement. - Utilize Power BI and Advanced Excel to create interactive dashboards for real-time monitoring of supply chain KPIs. - Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements such as Lean/Six Sigma. - Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors, supervise warehouse staff, and manage labor schedules based on projected order volumes. - Visit 3PL warehouses regularly for facility audits and hygiene checks. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: MBA in supply chain management, Logistics, or Business from tier-2/3 colleges. - Experience: 5-8 years in warehouse/distribution management, preferably in a fast-paced 3PL or e-commerce environment. - Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros) and PowerBI, hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERPs. - Core Competencies: Strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to resolve discrepancies, understanding of IMPEX and health and safety regulations.
