Job Description
As a Linux System Admin Level 2, you will play a crucial role in supporting the customer base both directly and indirectly. Your responsibilities will involve interacting with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems in the Hosting Environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treat all customers professionally and respectfully.
- Handle technical support tickets from web hosting customers.
- Support the roll-out of new applications.
- Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone, and other electronic mediums.
- Troubleshoot a variety of technical issues customers are facing with their web hosting services.
- Prioritize and manage multiple open tickets simultaneously.
Qualifications Required:
- Computer Knowledge and Good Communication skills, preferably with a B.Tech degree.
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is preferred.
- Willingness to work in a 24*7 environment.
- Experience with Hosting Control Panels (CPanel/WHM/Plesk).
- Basic skills in installation, server security, and server monitoring.
- Excellent understanding of SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, POP, and Exim.
- Proficiency in the installation and modification of Apache, Bind, DNS, PHP, MariaDB, and Perl.
- Competence in managing server Backup/Restore and DNS Management.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, adapt to a changing environment, and follow instructions from supervisors and senior colleagues.
- Confident, passionate, and possess strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask using technology and listening effectively.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting web hosting and technical procedures as required.
You will be expected to be dependable, attend work during assigned shifts, and complete tasks as expected.
Experience:
- Level 2 - Minimum 3+ years of experience in the field.
CTC Package:
- As per the eligibility of the candidate (At least One Year Service Contract).
