Job Description

As a Linux System Administrator, your role will involve administering, maintaining, and supporting Linux operating systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ubuntu. You will be responsible for implementing and managing infrastructure automation using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP). Your tasks will include system image creation, customization, and lifecycle management, along with troubleshooting complex Linux internals issues related to kernel behavior, system performance, networking, and storage. Key Responsibilities: - Administer, maintain, and support Linux operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ubuntu. - Implement and manage infrastructure automation using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP). - Perform system image creation, customization, and lifecycle management. - Troubleshoot complex Linux internals issues related to kernel behavior, system performance, networking, and storage. - Configure and manage security controls, including SELinux policies and firewalld rules, to ensure compliance and system hardening. - Manage storage using LVM, file systems, and disk performance optimization techniques. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate GitHub for version control and CI/CD workflows. - Support hybrid and cloud infrastructure initiatives on AWS and Azure platforms. - Monitor system health, availability, and performance, and proactively address potential issues. - Document configurations, procedures, and operational best practices. Qualifications Required: - Strong experience as a Linux administrator managing enterprise-scale environments. - Proven expertise in Linux internals, system performance tuning, and troubleshooting. - Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ubuntu, and Windows environments. - Proficiency in automation using Ansible Automation Platform. - RHCE certification or equivalent practical expertise in Red Hat Linux administration. - Experience working with version control tools such as GitHub. - Exposure to cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure. - Education: Any graduation or any post-graduation.
