Job Description
Role Overview:
As an experienced internal audit professional, you will lead the efforts for the IT and Cyber security audit track at PayU India. Your primary responsibility will be to provide independent assurance to the senior management regarding the security and resilience of the company's IT infrastructure and applications. You will play a crucial role in continuously monitoring, planning, and timely delivering all regulatory mandates related to system and information system audits throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Internal Audit in the day-to-day running of IT security audits
- Lead audit planning efforts and develop risk-based audit plans based on annual risk assessments
- Improve IA documentation to align with Global IIA standards such as IS audit framework and policy
- Plan, organize, and supervise the conduct of all IT security audit projects
- Follow an agile auditing approach to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Prepare reports and management presentations reflecting IT audit outcomes and key risks
- Work closely with co-sourced partners to meet audit objectives and timelines
- Make S.M.A.R.T recommendations to improve processes and ensure timely closure of actions
- Write high-quality audit reports praised for factual accuracy, brevity, and clarity
- Complete IA self-assessments with consistently improving outcomes year-on-year
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 12+ years of IT and Cyber security auditing experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Good understanding of regulatory and statutory expectations including System and IS Audits
- Strong knowledge of global security standards and frameworks
- Proficient in data analytics and familiar with data visualization tools
- Proactive, independent, resourceful, and self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact, collaborate, and challenge teams on existing IT security practices
- Globally recognized certifications in technical security areas preferred
