Lead Software Engineer - Java Backend + AI

In this role of Lead Software Engineer (Java Backend + AI), you will lead complex technology initiatives with broad impact, develop standards and best practices, design, code, test, and debug projects, review and analyze large-scale technology solutions, collaborate with technical experts to resolve complex issues, and mentor peers. You will need to have 5+ years of Software Engineering experience and strong skills in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Microservices, and AI development/integration. Your responsibilities will also include performing Gap analysis, contributing to in-sprint automation, CICD tasks, and active participation in Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead complex technology initiatives with broad impact - Develop standards and best practices for engineering solutions - Design, code, test, and debug projects - Review and analyze large-scale technology solutions - Collaborate with technical experts to resolve complex issues - Mentor peers and lead projects or teams Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of Software Engineering experience - Strong experience in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Microservices, and AI development/integration - Ability to perform Gap analysis, contribute to in-sprint automation, and CICD tasks - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies - Hands-on experience in web services In addition to the above, you will work closely with US and India teams on business requirements, analyze business needs, play a technical developer role, provide technical expertise, and monitor Production Applications Logs. You will need a Bachelor's/Masters degree in computer science or equivalent, proficiency in Java, Spring, Microservices design/development, APIs, Kafka, JMS, JPA, JUnit/TestNG, exposure to LLM consumption/integration, and hands-on experience with Python/Spring AI for AI-related development.
