Lead Mobile Software Engineer

Role Overview: As a Mobile Software Engineering Manager at the company, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team that works on CRM's mobile software applications on Android and iOS platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Build and manage a team of engineers working on CRM's mobile software applications on Android and iOS platforms. - Lead all aspects of mobile software development, including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. - Demonstrate technical proficiency in mobile software platforms and technologies, including cloud services, connectivity, and network services. - Apply software design patterns and architectural patterns during mobile software development. - Lead the planning and execution of product roadmaps, technology adoption, and process improvements. - Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance management to engineers in the team. - Plan and coordinate resources to enable productivity and growth of team members. - Participate actively in meetings involving team management and senior leadership. - Plan budget on a quarterly basis and manage expenses for the team. - Understand product requirements and user needs to drive strategy and roadmap development. - Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of work. - Manage the development of medical device software in a regulated environment. - Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvements in development and test processes. - Identify risks and provide inputs on corrective actions. - Adhere to best practices for mobile software development and deployment. - Support corporate and department-level initiatives as identified by management. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field. - 10 or more years of relevant industry experience, with 6 or more years of management experience. - 4 or more years of experience in managing mobile software application engineering. - Knowledge of industry best practices in architecture, design, test management, cybersecurity, and performance. - Technical proficiency with digital connectivity, storage, and security solutions. - Experience with native Android and iOS platforms or cross-functional mobile software platforms. - Familiarity with MVVM architecture and proficiency in C#, Java, Swift, Kotlin, or C++. - Strong decision-making and risk analysis skills. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced changing environment. - Ability to travel approximately 10%. Additional Details: The company prefers candidates with a Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field and experience in healthcare or highly regulated industries. Hands-on experience with software development in a regulated environment is also preferred.
