Job Description
As a Lead Payroll Analyst at Ameriprise India LLP, you will play a critical role within the Global Payroll services team to ensure timely and accurate payroll for international employees. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and approving payroll changes across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations before submission.
- Ensuring appropriate setup of payroll elements according to company policy and country legislation.
- Conducting monthly analysis of payroll data, resolving any arising issues, and preparing monthly payroll reconciliations.
- Reviewing Liabilities reconciliations for filing and payments to country authorities.
- Dealing with queries from authorities, third parties, employees, and stakeholders.
- Creating and maintaining internal payroll processing documentation.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to maintain controls and communicate legislative changes.
- Completing end-of-year analysis and preparing for final approval for each country.
- Assisting in Global mobility and Employment tax tasks related to payroll & benefits.
- Supporting International Payroll Manager with audits, risk assessments, and projects affecting payroll.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous EMEA/APAC payroll experience for at least 5 years.
- Organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of double entry bookkeeping.
- Good Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of HR Policies and practices.
- Basic knowledge of Benefits legislation and practices.
- Experience with Workday payroll, ADP iHCM, and Papaya Global systems.
In this role, you will work full-time with timings from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Ameriprise India LLP promotes in-office collaboration, with employees working in the office at least three days per week and flexibility to work from home two days per week. Specific in-office requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
