Job Description

Role Overview: BrainCert, an EdTech focused SaaS company, is seeking a competitive and trustworthy Sales Executive to enhance business activities. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects while ensuring customer satisfaction. The goal is to exceed the company's expectations and drive rapid and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities: - Recruit, train, and coach team members of the inside sales team. - Educate inside sales staff on effectively responding to common customer inquiries. - Collaborate with the marketing department to provide quality leads for the inside sales staff. - Maintain accurate records of all leads and actual sales. - Prepare precise sales forecasts to aid the company in making informed business decisions. - Regularly evaluate the performance of the inside sales team. - Assess current sales practices and procedures for their effectiveness in generating sales. - Recommend and implement improvements to sales practices and procedures as necessary. - Address and resolve customer complaints. Qualifications Required: - Background: Possess 4+ years of inside sales or business development experience, preferably in a SaaS software or educational technology industry role. Must be self-motivated, able to work autonomously, recommend sales process improvements, creatively problem solve, and achieve goals. - Industry Experience: Previous experience in the EdTech industry, particularly with CMS systems like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and Moodle, is advantageous. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Virtual Classroom platforms is a plus. - Creative: Ability to tailor solutions for various small business owners. - Empathetic: Demonstrate patience, understanding, and empathy in conflict resolution after putting yourself in the client's shoes. - Driven: Success in the role depends on your determination. Your quota and KPIs serve as a guide to excel within the team. - Tech Savvy: Understanding of SaaS technology workings and possessing basic technical skills. - Curious: Display a thirst for knowledge and willingness to ask questions. - Great Communicator: Adapt communication style as per the audience.
