Job Description
As a Design Lead at Moonraft, you are a UX design expert with a disruptive approach to design that combines empathy for users and understanding of business. Your role involves quick visioning and lateral thinking with the ability to articulate design effectively. Being open and flexible to ideas from all sources is crucial in this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create and lead design engagement with UX Strategy, Conceptualization, User Journeys, Information Architecture, Prototyping & Visual Designs for large-scale solutions
- Drive conversations with stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Identify opportunities to create business value and enhance user experience through user research
- Develop user profiles, conduct task analysis, create user scenarios, and navigate through ambiguity
- Lead the development of personas/segmentations and integrate them with related deliverables
- Facilitate user scenario planning sessions and design thinking workshops
- Estimate, plan, and lead tracks of creative work/projects, ensuring quality solutions are delivered
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to implement designs meeting Moonrafts quality standards
- Lead participatory design/user testing sessions, present findings & recommendations, and manage client meetings
- Inspire, mentor, and support the design team members
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Masters/Bachelors degree in design discipline
- Online portfolio showing relevant experience
- Experience with rapid prototyping and front-end development
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience
- Proficiency with tools such as Sketch, Axure, Invisionapp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams
