Job Description
As a Data Analyst, you will be expected to spend 100% of your time on hands-on Data Analysis, Data Modeling, design, and architecture. Experience in the Finance Domain and FCC (Financial Crimes and Compliance) is a plus. You should be able to work in overlap with Morning EST hours. Your extensive working knowledge and expertise should be on Spark SQL, RDBMS, and Databricks. It is essential to have worked on data migration projects, especially cloud migration. You will work closely with business and IT teams to clarify and refine functional requirement specifications. Collaborate with source teams to understand the data and analyze the gaps. Your responsibilities will include coming up with Entity and Attribute mappings, Dependencies, constraints, Data rules, and data model. It is crucial to work independently and communicate effectively with IT and Business Stakeholders to drive technical delivery. Additionally, you should be able to work on and strategize for the future data model for compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Hands-on design and development
- Spend 80% of time on own tasks as part of Sprint deliverables
**Qualifications Required:**
- 12-16 years of IT experience with relevant qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of industry experience in Big data and Cloud experience
- Extensive experience in Data Analysis, Data Mappings, Data Quality, SOR
- Exposure to AWS, Databricks is most desirable
- Should have worked with RDBMS, OLTP, OLAP, Data Warehouses, and ETL
- Strong SQL skills are a must
- Knowledge of Pyspark and data modeling is a plus
- Financial domain knowledge is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Agile experience
**Must have:** RDBMS, Data Analysis, ERWIN, SQL, Databricks, Spark, Good at design and implementation
