As a Lead Content Designer at Multiplier, you will play a crucial role in defining and shaping the content strategy within a product tribe. You will lead content design initiatives, define voice and tone standards, bridge brand and product language systems, and coach and develop content designers. This role requires a balance between strategic discipline-building and hands-on product impact, where you will own complex, high-impact product initiatives, shape language across critical workflows, and define naming systems and structural clarity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead content strategy within a tribe.
- Define voice and tone standards for product.
- Bridge brand and product language systems.
- Coach and develop content designers.
- Own complex, high-impact product initiatives.
- Shape language across critical workflows.
- Define naming systems, taxonomy, and structural clarity.
- Establish scalable voice and tone principles.
- Align brand positioning with product expression.
- Guide tonal nuance across contexts and global markets.
- Line manage and mentor content designers.
- Facilitate critique and craft rituals.
- Develop designers from tactical copywriting toward structural design thinking.
- Partner with Brand and Marketing to connect promise and product.
- Integrate content early in discovery and roadmap conversations.
- Participate in cross-tribe forums to prevent drift and fragmentation.
Qualifications Required:
- 812+ years in content design or UX writing.
- Proven experience shaping voice and tone systems.
- Comfortable navigating financial, compliance, or operational complexity.
- Experienced in coaching or leading other content designers.
- Able to influence senior stakeholders with structured reasoning.
- Motivated to build and scale a content discipline.
