Lead Consultant - Information Architect (Finance)

As a Lead Consultant - Information Architect at AstraZeneca, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization architects and builds solutions that deliver FAIR data products enabling both digital and data/AI. Your primary focus will be on the regulatory domain, responsible for defining the information architecture for the domain, including data models, master data strategies, metadata strategies, and ensuring proper governance of data in collaboration with the enterprise data office. Your efforts will contribute towards making AstraZeneca data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) across systems for direct use by consumers or AI machines. Additionally, you will collaborate with various functions like engineering, business data governance, data analysis, and Enterprise architecture functions to drive business value. Key Responsibilities: - Define information architecture for the regulatory domain, including data models, master data strategies, and metadata strategies - Ensure proper governance of data in collaboration with the enterprise data office - Design efficient data and information architectures to support business objectives - Ensure AstraZeneca data is FAIR across systems for direct use by consumers or AI machines - Collaborate with engineering, business data governance, data analysis, and Enterprise architecture functions to drive business value - Support the definition of enterprise Data Strategies including information and data governances in a Data Mesh architecture, data innovation, and governance policies Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge and experience with SAP Data structures in Finance functional areas - Experience in translating requirements into fit for purpose data models, data processing designs, and data mappings - Prior experience in SAP Information Architecture - Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels - Experience in relevant domains such as Pharma, R&D, Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, HR, Legal, etc. - Experience in enterprise data modelling and usage of tools such as ER Studio and SAP Power Designer - Experience in designing master data solutions and strategies - Experience in the use of metadata standards At AstraZeneca, we offer a Great Place to Work where you are empowered to push the boundaries of science and unleash your entrepreneurial spirit.
