As a Lead Analytics Consultant at Wells Fargo, you will play a crucial role in providing reporting and analytic solutions that offer actionable insights to the line of business partners. Your responsibilities will include: - Working individually or as part of a team on Business Intelligence projects and collaborating closely with business partners across the organization. - Serving as a senior resource for designing, developing, and delivering high performing reporting solutions and data analysis. - Planning and performing reporting, analyses, and projects to address various business issues for a department or functional area. - Engaging in independent conversations around planning, design, and execution of projects with diverse stakeholders. - Utilizing data visualization tools and alternative front-end solutions to deliver data effectively. - Performing ad-hoc analyses, drilling down into data inconsistencies, and conducting Root cause analysis for unusual trends. - Collaborating with Technology Partners to generate new reports or optimize current work products. - Following quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and transitions to ensure project objectives are met. - Engaging directly with US partners for the development and implementation of all projects. - Providing thought leadership in the field and mentoring junior team members. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. Essential qualifications for the Lead Analytics Consultant position at Wells Fargo are: - 5+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, Business Intelligence (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, PowerApps). - Exposure and basic knowledge of Data Science, AI. - Proficiency in designing and developing interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI. - Strong skills in using heterogeneous sources for deriving complex KPIs using Tableau and Power BI. - Understanding high-level business objectives and aligning the BI/Reporting roadmap to meet business needs. - Ability to gather end-user requirements regarding data needs. - Strong oral and written communication and consultative skills. - Presentation of findings to multiple levels of management. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives. - Consulting with partners to define issues/information needs. - Ensuring timely delivery of analyses while exceeding partner expectations. - Providing exploratory data analysis using SQL. - Experience with Databases like Teradata, SQL server. - Designing and implementing enterprise data and reporting architectures. - Advanced Excel skills. - Data integration and cleanup for data usage. - Experience with structured data, semi-structured text, or Excel files.
