Jr. Quality Engineer

As a Quality Supervisor/Junior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing quality-related activities in a fast-paced mass production or fastener industry setting. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Handling day-to-day activities in the Quality Department, including problem-solving and root cause analysis. - Managing customer complaints effectively. - Monitoring product rejections and analyzing them to implement preventive measures. - Verifying processes and guiding operators to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and rectify processes as needed. - Inspecting incoming and outgoing materials to ensure quality standards are met. - Maintaining and updating charts and records related to the Quality Department. - Conducting tests on materials and preserving test reports for future reference. To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: - Total experience of 1-2 years, with a minimum of 1 year as a Junior Quality Engineer or Supervisor in a mass production industry or fastener industry. - Knowledge of machine operation, Quality Certification, Quality documentation, 5S, Kaizen, and other productivity and quality-related concepts. - Technical knowledge of various measurement instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Profile Projector, and Tensile Tester. - Strong communication skills, people management abilities, problem-solving aptitude, and the ability to work well in a team. As a Quality Supervisor/Junior Quality Engineer, you will report to the Quality Head and play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality standards within the company. Please note that the work location for this full-time position is preferred to be within 20 km from the company address. The annual compensation for this role ranges from 2.0 to 2.5 lakh.
