Java Backend Developer

As a highly skilled Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications using Java (1.8+) and Spring/Spring Boot. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing robust APIs and backend services following best practices. - Working on Word document generation/manipulation using Apache POI, docx4j, or similar libraries. - Handling HTML rendering, CSS styling, JavaScript integration, and image embedding within documents. - Working with XML and Office Open XML (OOXML) standards for DOCX manipulation. - Following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices with no dedicated QA support. - Performing code reviews and ensuring adherence to clean coding standards. - Optimizing performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring application security. To qualify for this role, you should possess: - 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java (1.8+) and Spring/Spring Boot. - A strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms. - Expertise in Object-Oriented Design & Design Patterns. - Experience in entity/domain modeling & database schema design (SQL & NoSQL). - Strong knowledge of API-driven system design. - Understanding of web security vulnerabilities & performance tuning. - Experience with Git or similar version control systems. - Exposure to Agile methodologies and code quality practices. - Working knowledge of AWS / GCP / Azure.
