IT Engineer

As an IT Support Engineer at Don Bosco Nerul, located in Seawoods, Navi Mumbai, your main responsibilities will include: - Maintenance of Computers and Devices Ensuring the proper functioning of all computers, laptops, printers, projectors, cameras, digital displays, and other devices. - Technical Support Providing assistance to teachers, staff, and administration for hardware and software issues. - Network and Internet Management Managing the institutions internet connection, Wi-Fi, and LAN systems. - ERP Management and Support Assisting staff in using the school ERP system, managing user access, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with the ERP service provider when necessary. - Software Installation and Updates Installing and updating required software and applications. - Data Backup and Security Ensuring regular data backups, maintaining basic data security, and overseeing the server room maintenance. - IT Asset Management Keeping records of computers, laptops, tablets, and other IT equipment of the school. - System Administration Overseeing system administration tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree or Diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Applications. - Relevant certification in hardware, networking, or system administration will be an added advantage. Skills needed for this position are: - Knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting. - Basic networking and internet management. - Ability to manage and support the ERP system. - Knowledge of software installation and system updates. - Good problem-solving and communication skills. Ideal candidates should have: - 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role. - Experience in a school or educational institution will be an added advantage. The salary for this position is negotiable based on qualifications and experience, ranging from 15,000.00 to 25,000.00 per month. The work location is in person.
