IOT Engineer Intern

You are an experienced IoT Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of IoT projects for Project X. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy IoT solutions that meet the needs of clients. Your role will involve designing and configuring IoT devices and networks, developing software for IoT applications, and analyzing and interpreting data from IoT devices. As part of the team of innovators at Project X, your application is awaited to contribute to the success of the company. **Key Responsibilities:** - Research and Implement IoT infrastructure - Experience with mesh network or sensor network and communication - Solid working knowledge using IoT hardware platforms, communication boards, and gateways - Hands-on experience with internet protocols and software development using protocols like LoRA, Wi-Fi, BLE, ZigBee, NB-IoT, M2M, 6LoWPAN, Ethernet, etc. - Strong understanding of scalability, security, high availability, and operational requirements - Develop and deploy IoT devices and networks meeting client requirements - Develop software for IoT applications, including data collection, analysis, and reporting - Analyze and interpret data from IoT devices to identify trends and insights - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test IoT solutions - Configure and troubleshoot IoT devices and networks for optimal performance - Stay up-to-date on new IoT technologies, platforms, and trends - Develop documentation, technical specifications, system diagrams, and user manuals - Ensure data security and compliance with privacy regulations - Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide customized IoT solutions - Create devices, sensors, and software for seamless connectivity with other systems - Research, create, test, and document IoT solutions with integrated systems and devices - Design, code, and test features of IoT devices - Develop platform solutions that are cloud-compatible and work with IoT applications **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field - 1+ years of experience in IoT design, development, and implementation - Experience with IoT architectures, protocols, and systems, including IoT cloud platforms like AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google IoT - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or other relevant languages - Experience with data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Excel - Familiarity with wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, ZigBee, Wi-Fi, and cellular technologies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously Please note that as your role evolves, your responsibilities may change, modify, or grow. **Disclaimer:** You will be expected to present proof of your qualifications and work experience.
