Intermediate BIM Architect

As a BIM Architect, your role involves utilizing BIM software to create 3D models, parametric families, and construction drawings. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining BIM standards, templates, and libraries for project teams. Ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of BIM data throughout the project lifecycle is crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate design and engineering disciplines into the BIM model. - Coordinate clash detection and resolution among various building systems using BIM software. - Conduct regular coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and ensure interdisciplinary coordination. - Prepare construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details using BIM software. - Generate 4D and 5D simulations to visualize construction sequences and estimate project costs. - Create high-quality renderings and VR experiences to communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders. - Perform quality checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards. - Manage and maintain the BIM model database, including version control and data exchange. - Provide training and support to project team members on BIM software, workflows, and standards. - Stay updated with the latest trends in BIM technology and recommend improvements for project delivery. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as a BIM Architect or in a similar role. - Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or Bentley MicroStation. - Strong knowledge of building design, construction methods, and codes. - Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills. - Effective communication and collaboration abilities. - Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. - Familiarity with interoperability standards and protocols (IFC, COBie, etc.). - Knowledge of 4D and 5D simulations and visualization tools is a plus. - Professional certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are advantageous.
