Job Description
Requirement: Instructional Designer / Senior IDs (US Curriculum & K-12 Specialist)
Work Location: Remote
Experience Level: 4+ Years in Instructional Design (K-12)
Role Summary: We are seeking highly skilled Instructional Designers in India to support a major US-based "Differentiated Build" project. This role is not just about content migration; it requires deep pedagogical knowledge to duplicate "Blueprint" courses and scale them into Honors, College Prep (CP), and Academic versions for grades 912. You will work directly with US-based teachers to adjust rigor and assessments.
Domain Preference: Candidates with a background in ELA, Math, Science, or Social Studies (SS).
Skills Required:
ID Foundations: Deep understanding of instructional design, learning principles (Blooms Taxonomy), and Accessibility (WCAG/UDL).
US K-12 Experience: Familiarity with US K-12 standards and the ability to differentiate content between Academic, CP, and Honors levels.
LMS & EdTech Mastery: Hands-on experience with Canvas LMS and CidiLabs. Must be proficient in LTI integrations (e.g., CK-12, TCI, Delta Math, Common Lit).
Collaborative Communication: Exceptional English fluency (written and verbal). Must be comfortable collaborating directly with US teachers to translate their differentiation requirements into digital content.
Independence: Ability to work autonomously, solve problems independently, and manage multiple priorities within strict timeframes.
Job Responsibilities:
Differentiated Build: Shift from "Blueprint" courses to the full construction of Honors and College Prep (CP) versions for all 912 courses.
Teacher Collaboration: Duplicate blueprints and assist US teachers in adjusting content, assessments, and rigor based on specific differentiation needs.
Technical Mapping: Ensure all LTI integrations (CK12, TCI, etc.) are correctly mapped and functional for specific sections.
Documentation: Create Scaling Guides describing the pedagogical differences between each course level.
Workflow Management: Set methodologies for project execution and create effort estimations for tasks.
Quality & Compliance: Conduct QA and remediation on the tiered suite (Academic, CP, and Honors) as per the customer Course Quality Checklist.
Vendor/Team Coordination: Train internal team members on project requirements and manage daily deliverables, if needed.
Risk Management: Identify production risks and provide timely feedback on performance to the Project Manager.
