Import Associate

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all import-related activities for our EV manufacturing operations. This will involve overseeing documentation, ensuring compliance with import regulations, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting smooth supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and process import documentation and shipping records - Coordinate with vendors, freight forwarders, and customs officials - Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies - Track shipments and resolve any import-related issues - Maintain accurate records of all import activities - Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field - Knowledge of import-export regulations and documentation - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems preferred - Experience in EV or manufacturing industry is an added advantage Additional Details: The salary for this position will be based on experience and skills. The benefits include health insurance and provident fund. The job location is in Kolkata, West Bengal. You must be willing to commute or relocate to Kolkata before starting work. The required experience for this role is 5 years as an Import Associate. Proficiency in English language is required, and willingness to travel up to 25% is necessary. The work location is in person.
