HVDC / FACTS Service Engineer

As a Control & Protection Testing Engineer for HVDC/FACTS/AC Switchyard systems, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Testing software and hardware for control & protection for HVDC/FACTS/AC Switchyard systems - Testing primary electrical equipment in HVAC/HVDC Switchyards - Testing and programming numerical protection relays, preferably Siemens SIPROTEC family - Performing factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests for HVDC/FACTS C&P systems - Troubleshooting and providing technical service support at customer sites for HVDC & FACTS - Updating engineering documentation/drawings post completion of tests - Managing, developing, and ensuring profitability of HVDC & FACTS spares business - Responding to customer inquiries, preparing offers, and handling offer management & order execution for spare parts business - Attending customer meetings, discussing proposals, and suggesting solutions aligned with field service - Overseeing project activities from conceptualization to execution, including technical specifications, progress monitoring, and vendor management - Preparing cost-optimized technical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to meet customer expectations - Coordinating QMS and EHS for HDVC and FACTS services portfolio Qualifications Required: - B.E / B. Tech in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics with 4 to 8 years of experience - Good knowledge in testing of software and hardware for control & protection for HVDC/FACTS/AC Switchyard systems - Experience on HVDC/FACTS system will be an advantage - Good knowledge in testing and programming of numerical protection relays - Must be technically sound to face customers directly - Good communication skills - Ability to multitask and work under time pressure - Very good technical know-how on HVDC & FACTS technologies - Clear understanding of the entire Offer - Testing & Commissioning process of HVDC & FACTS Substation - Team player with high commitment and willingness to go beyond the extra mile - Good knowledge of Cyber Security, MS Word, MS Excel & Power Points - Working knowledge of MS office tools like MS Projects, Power BI etc is an added advantage - Extraordinary intercultural sensitivity and ability to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural team - Excellent written & verbal communication, presentation & negotiation skills - Foreign language expertise will be an added advantage Join a team of super minds, not superheroes, and be part of a dynamic environment focused on innovation and excellence.
