Job Description

As a Technical Support Specialist at Marriott International, your role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical problems related to computer software and systems. You will provide technical guidance and recommendations to resolve business issues and analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements. Your responsibilities will include: - Entering commands and activating controls on computer and peripheral equipment - Troubleshooting, modifying, supporting, managing, and maintaining application programs and user accounts - Maintaining records of daily data communication transactions, problems, remedial actions taken, and installation activities - Training users in the proper use of hardware or software - Managing and coordinating planning, design, operations, maintenance, and resource allocation of telecommunications activities - Consulting with and advising others on administrative policies, procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods related to telecommunications You will also assist management in various HR functions such as hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, and motivating employees. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with team members, following company policies and procedures, and ensuring adherence to quality standards are essential aspects of this role. Additionally, you may be required to perform other job duties as requested by supervisors.
