Job Description
As a Helpdesk professional, your role involves providing first-level technical support to internal users and clients. Your main responsibilities will include resolving basic IT issues, logging tickets, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Provide Level 1 (L1) technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Log and track service requests through the ticketing system
- Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, printers, and internet connectivity
- Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 support teams
- Install and configure desktops, laptops, and basic software applications
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements
- Ensure timely resolution and maintain SLA compliance
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office
- Understanding of LAN/WAN and networking fundamentals
- Knowledge of ticketing tools
- Good communication skills (English & Hindi preferred)
- Customer-orientated approach
- Ability to work in rotational shifts if required
Qualifications required for this position include:
- Any graduate or diploma in IT / BSc IT / BCA
