Head of Enterprise Risk Management & Compliance

As the Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Compliance in the Listed Company located in Hyderabad, your role is to be a leader in the Group Risk Management and Compliance practices. Your main responsibilities include: - Ensuring continuous Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation across entire Business Functions and Processes by institutionalizing adoption of Best Practices in ERM and Compliance functions. - Reporting to the Audit Committee and following their guidelines for effective Risk Management. - Creating awareness among Business leadership and other Stakeholders on various Risks, their impact, and effective mitigation through Action plans. - Capturing the effectiveness of Statutory and Internal Compliance requirements by leveraging Digital tools and systems. - Working closely with Internal Audit and external Firms for deploying Testing and Assessment processes as well as Action Plans. - Networking effectively with External Firms for deployment and diagnosis of Best Practices in ERM and related areas. - Regular assessment and deployment of Risk Management processes and systems across the Group including ERM, ICFR/IFC. - Ensuring Compliances in Listed Company and its Associates/Subsidiaries are updated, monitored, and reported using Complinity or any other compliance Tool. - Leveraging Digital capabilities for effective shared services comparable or better than Benchmarked Services globally. - Ensuring timely compilation and reporting on Internal Audit and Compliance matters in AC/Board by coordinating with in/out sourced Internal Audit teams. - Implementation of processes and continuous improvements related to Internal Controls, Authorization/Access provisions, SOA/DOA for assurance and preventive measures around GRC. - Contributing as an active member of ARG Finance Forum through various Committees/ Sub Committees for enhancing Finance Function performance. - Providing professional guidance and support in compliance with various Accounting Standards including Ind AS. Qualifications required for this role: - CA or MBA preferred. - 15 years plus experience in leading ERM practices, with minimum 7 to 8 years in a Listed Company with turnover of at least 1 Billion USD. - Experience in Internal Audit or Risk Assurance Function preferably in Big 4, Big 5 or Top 20 IA Companies. - Experience in implementation of Compliance, Risk Management program, and Tools across businesses and Group. - Working knowledge in Areas like Forensic Audit, IT Risk management, and Regulatory Risk mitigation. Skills/Competencies needed for the position: - Strong conceptual understanding of ERM in dynamic business and regulatory environment. - Hands-on experience in ERP environment like SAP and Digital Savvy. - Thought Leader with influencing and analytical capabilities. - Excellent Collaborative working style of leadership. - Strong communication, business, and financial acumen. - Influencing and Negotiation Skills.
