Role Overview:
As a Growth Product Manager at our company, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of product-led growth initiatives. You will play a crucial role at the intersection of product, marketing, and engineering by utilizing behavioral data to identify drop-offs and design high-impact experiments. Your primary objective will be to enhance key metrics throughout the entire user lifecycle, including activation, retention, referral, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Funnel Optimization: Conduct an analysis of the user journey from the landing page to the paid subscription. Identify any friction points in the onboarding process and devise solutions to enhance conversion rates.
- Experimentation: Take charge of the A/B testing roadmap. Plan, launch, and evaluate experiments across the product to test hypotheses related to pricing, feature gating, and user engagement loops.
- Retention Strategy: Develop product features and behavioral triggers such as personalized daily insights, push notifications, and milestone rewards to cultivate habit-forming behaviors and reduce churn.
- Data Analysis: Dive deep into our analytics stack to segment user cohorts, monitor daily active users (DAU), and establish the leading indicators of long-term retention.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with the engineering team to implement tracking events and develop new growth features. Work with the design team to ensure a seamless and authentic user experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, with a focus of 1-2 years specifically on growth, conversion rate optimization (CRO), or user acquisition.
- Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working on a B2C digital subscription product, freemium model, or membership-based platform.
- Data Fluency: Highly analytical with proficiency in using product analytics tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, and Google Analytics. Comfortable with writing SQL queries to extract necessary data.
- Experimentation Expertise: In-depth understanding of statistical significance, A/B testing methodologies, and structuring valid product experiments.
- UX Sensibility: Possess a keen eye for typography, layout, and user experience to ensure that growth strategies align with the brand's authenticity and visual guidelines.
