Role Overview:
You will be responsible for creating graphics based on sequences of operation, plant schematics, and system architecture, ensuring they meet defined standards. Your role will involve working on global projects and collaborating with teams in global engineering centers. As a BMS Graphics Team Lead with 3-6 years of experience, you will generate Floorplan graphics, Equipment graphics, and Network layouts using tools such as Visio, AUTOCAD, or other applications. It is essential to have a strong understanding of HVAC domain systems like Air Handling Units, Chiller/Boiler Systems, and Variable Air Volume Boxes to engineer solutions around them. You will need to communicate effectively with global customers, understand their requirements, and translate them into deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret sequences of operation, plant schematics, and system architecture to create graphics as per defined standards
- Work on global projects and collaborate with teams in global engineering centers
- Generate Floorplan graphics, Equipment graphics, and Network layouts using tools like Visio, AUTOCAD, or other applications
- Understand HVAC domain systems and engineer solutions around them
- Communicate with global customers, understand their requirements, and translate them into deliverables
- Knowledge of building management system protocols like BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, OPC, and others
- Perform functionality checks as per requirements and specifications
- Ensure quality, defect-free deliverables, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with design and software teams for effective and timely delivery of graphics
- Motivate and lead a team of graphics designers
- Manage partners delivering graphics work
- Offer innovative solutions to customers using the latest BMS offerings/technology
- Work in a performance-driven culture
Qualification Required:
- Bachelors degree in Instrumentation, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in BMS Graphics development with software programming knowledge in healthcare, life sciences, and data center fields
- Experience working on global projects with high complex graphics is an advantage
- Ability to work in remote (offshore) teams across different time zones
- Certifications in industry graphic standards
- Understanding of Revit files
- Proficiency in MS Visio, MS Office, AUTOCAD, Adobe PDF, and scripting skills
- Hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara Workbench, Schneider Electric Continuum Software, and EcoStructure Building Operation (EBO) Role Overview:
