GPP Test Lead

As a GPP Test Lead at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in evolving the infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include harnessing cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure, ensuring the seamless delivery of digital solutions. To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills: Key Responsibilities: - Excellent team management and delivery planning skill set. - Proficiency in GPP Technology and development skills. - Thorough understanding of payment end-to-end flows. - Strong programming skills in Oracle PL/SQL, including performance tuning. - Knowledge of C++ technology, such as class templates, string manipulations API, memory utilization best practices, as well as build tools like cmake. - Awareness of Architectural principles, including ACID compliance of data and modularity of components. - Understanding of E2E payment processing checkpoints, including injection channel, advices, statements, Accounting & reconciliations. - Ability to propose solutions within GPP architecture. - Proficiency in MQ, UNIX, Perl, and Python scripting. - Experience in triaging technical issues through traces/logs interpretation. - Excellent understanding of Test Automation tools/framework (BDD Gherkin/Selenium). - Solid knowledge of JAVA technologies. - Overview of micro-services architecture and open source tools. - Good understanding of platforms like Cloud, Docker, AWS, and other containerization tools. Qualifications Required: - Fair understanding of the infrastructure layer hosting the application, including web-server, MQ manager, High Availability/resiliency techniques, and Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Tivoli, ELK. - Good understanding of functional design aspects. - E2E landscape overview of the payment processing system. - Exposure to ISO message format and parsing mechanism. The role is based out of Pune.
