GNOC TechOps

As a GNOC TechOps Engineer, your role involves managing a Hybrid Enterprise network Infrastructure in line with business needs. You will work with Enterprise Network Operations, collaborate with clients on incident management, engage with service fulfillment teams, and deliver business value to the project. Additionally, you are expected to contribute towards process optimization, service improvements, and performance-related measurements/reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Provide end-to-end operational support for a hybrid Security, WAN, LAN (wired and wireless), and Cloud (IaaS) infrastructure operating in a 24x7x365 global environment. - Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot Security and WAN-related incidents across a globally distributed network, ensuring high availability, resilience, and quick restoration of services. - Perform full cycle Incident Management, including technical investigation, ticket handling, root-cause analysis, participation in troubleshooting bridges, and driving timely resolution to restore normal operations. - Collaborate with hardware and technology vendors to diagnose and resolve issues. - Support and maintain critical network services such as DNS, DHCP, AAA, RBAC, and related infrastructure components. - Utilize AI-driven tools and analytics platforms to optimize service delivery, accelerate troubleshooting, and enhance operational efficiency. - Apply hands-on knowledge of network monitoring and observability tools. - Contribute to automation opportunities with an agile mindset that reduce manual effort, streamline operations, and improve consistency and quality of service delivery. Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of Firewall Security Networking concepts with good working experience with FortiGate and Palo firewalls. - Expert hands-on knowledge in enterprise-level networking and excellent troubleshooting skills with good working experience with BGP, OSPF, and IP protocols in an MPLS and BGP environment. - Comprehensive understanding of Layer 2 and 3 protocols. - Working experience with encryption technologies/Virtual Private Networks. - Working experience on Public Cloud AWS/Azure. - Network Automation skill using Python, Ansible, or any other scripting language. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience with a Main Skill Proficiency of P3+ and hold a BE, BTech, MCA equivalent or above educational qualification. Additionally, having relevant network/cloud certification (preferably DevOps) would be advantageous.
